Manuel C. Pinheiro, 74, of Barrington passed away on April 9th. He was the husband of Connie (Benevides) Pinheiro.
Born in Pico da Pedra, Sao Miguel, Acores, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria Jose (Rego) Pinheiro. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Horace Pinheiro and his longtime companion Nancy Perry Janitto of Bristol and Manny Pinheiro III and his wife Mary (Volpe) of Barrington and his grandchildren Nicholas Pinheiro and Gabriella Pinheiro and Cristian. He was the brother of Mary Jo deMelo, Evarista Brum and Joseph Pinheiro all of Bristol.
Mr. Pinheiro attended Bristol schools and was the owner of the Azorean Market for 25 years before retiring. After his retirement, he loved his job as bus monitor.
His funeral services will be held Friday 8 AM from the George Lima Funeral Home 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 9 AM at St. Elizabeth's Church 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
