Maria Clementina (Lima) Azevedo

Maria Clementina (Lima) Azevedo, 86, of Buttonwood Avenue passed away on April 4, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of Andre Azevedo.

Born in Sao Mateus, Pico, Azores she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Amelia daSilva (Goulart) de Lima. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Manuel Azevedo and his wife Connie of Fall River, Marie Leddy of Warren and Charles Azevedo of Bristol; grandchildren Gina DiPietro, Joey Leddy; great grandchildren John DiPietro, Dylan DiPietro and brother Jose Lima of Oakville Canada. She was mother of the late Bruce Azevedo.

Mrs. Azevedo was educated in Portugal and employed by Hasbro before retiring. She was a longtime volunteer at the Good Neighbors Soup Kitchen at St. Michael's Church.

Her funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 10th, 10 AM from the George Lima Funeral Home 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth's Church 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
