Maria Fatima Morais, 63, passed away on March 30, 2018 at Orchard View Manor.
Born in Praia do Norte, Faial, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Maria Eugenia (Silveira) Morais. She is survived by her siblings Maria Matos and her husband Antonio, Conceicao Peixoto, Francisco Morais and his wife Adelaide, Jose Morais and his wife Maria Olivia and Adelina DaSilva.
Maria was a graduate of Bristol High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from URI. She was employed as a nurse at Rhode Island Hospital
Calling hours are Friday, April 6th, 9:45 - 10:30 AM at the George Lima Funeral Home 367 High Street followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11AM at St. Elizabeth's Church 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
