William Belanger

William Belanger, 73, of Fall River passed away on September 5, 2019 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Medeiros) Belanger.  He was the father of Melissa Belanger and Christina Belanger and the grandfather of John Sylvia.  He was the brother of the late John Belanger.

Mr. Belanger served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was employed as a welder at Electric Boat before retiring. 

His funeral services will be held Friday, September 13th, 10 AM from the George Lima Funeral Home 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Calling hours are Thursday, September 12th, 5 - 8 PM.
