Albert Joseph Manchester

Albert Joseph Manchester, 91, of Barrington passed away on December 1, 2022 at Miriam Hospital.  He was the husband of the late Viola (D’Agostino) Manchester. 

Born in Bristol, he was the son of the late Daniel T. and Nettie (Robinson) Manchester.  He was the father of Sidney Manchester and the late Albert J. Manchester Jr. He is also survived by his grandchildren Meagan (Claudio) Manchester, Alyssa Manchester, and Erin Kunzmann and her husband Brett; great grandchildren Leila, Gavin, Lilliana, Isaac, Adriana, Isabella, Rowan, Eliza, Ezra, Violet, Michael, Elexia, Daniel, Robert, and Angel; also great-great grandchildren Grace and Michael Jr. He was the brother of the late Robert, Stephen, Daniel Jr., George, Herbert and the late sisters, Lucy Manchester and Grace Forcier.

He was educated in Bristol and employed by Fulflex for 25 years and the Bristol School system before retiring. Albert was a beloved father and grandfather to all these children and will be missed. He was an avid EVERYTHING, he didn’t stop doing things. He was an avid fisherman, he loved shell fishing and bass fishing. His great joy was to drop off his catch, often times cooked, to his family and friends.

His funeral services were held December 7th, at North Burial Ground, Bristol.
