Alice C. Rene, 94, passed away on February 3, 2023 at Warren Skilled Nursing & Rehab . She was the wife of the late Edward Rene.
Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Almeida) Santos. She is survived by her children: Donna Barboza of Riverside, Edward (Elizabeth) Rene of Bristol, Denise (Nick) Mansi of Bristol, and Wayne (Renee) Rene of Warren; grandchildren Lynn Perry, Lisa Perry, Michelle Raposo, Edward Rene III, Brian Mansi, Wayne Rene, Nathan Rene, and Justin Rene; and 7 great grandchildren. She was the sister of Irene, Edmund and the late Lorraine, Mary, Mabel, Emily, Anthony, Joe, and Jimmy.
Mrs. Rene was educated in Bristol and became a homemaker after her marriage.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 9th, 9 - 10:30 AM at the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street with a funeral service starting a 10:30 AM. . Burial will follow in Newport Memorial Park.
