Alyson M. Harper, 38, of Ryan Avenue, passed away on July 24, 2024.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Robert Arthur and Cidalia (DaSilva) Harper. In addition to her parents, Alyson is survived by: her son Gabriel R. Ferreira of Bristol; her brother Justin H. Harper of Bristol; her niece Josie R. Harper of Bristol; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Alyson was a 2003 class graduate of Mt. Hope High School. She attended Costin’s School of Cosmetology and was employed by Tiffany’s Salon & Spa in Barrington for 10 years.

Aly was a great mother to her son Gabriel, the love of her life, as well as a great daughter, sister, and friend. She was a fun, loving person with an infectious laugh, always ready to go on ‘an adventure’. She will be dearly missed.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 30th, 9 – 10:30 AM from the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
