Andre F Azevedo

Andre F. Azevedo, 97, of Bristol RI, passed away on January 14, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Maria Clementina (Lima) Azevedo.

Born in Pico, Azores, he was the son of the late Antonio F. and Federina G. (Matos) Azevedo. Mr. Azevedo was educated in Portugal. He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth’s Church.

Andre Azevedo enjoyed watching soccer and cheering on his team Benfica and watching documentaries on Pico, Azores where he and his family lived prior to coming to the US. He enjoyed going to watch the deer at colt state park. He also enjoyed, fishing, working in the garden, and caring for his grape vines and fig trees. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially with his great grandchildren.

He is survived by his children: Manuel Azevedo (wife Connie) of Fall River, MA, Marie Leddy (Robert Sanchas) of Warren, RI, and Charlie Azevedo of Bristol, RI; grandchildren: Gina Dipietro and Joey Leddy (Tiffany Hayden); and great-grandchildren: Dylan, John, Joey Jr., Everley, and Carly.

His funeral services are private.
