Anna M. (Fernandes) Sousa, 90, of Franklin Street, passed away on September 4, 2025, at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Sousa.
Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of Manuel and Mary P. Fernandes. She is survived by her daughter: Karen Mello of East Providence; grandson: Brandon (Kindra) Mello of Huntington Beach, CA; and great-grandchildren: Austin Mello and Brett Mello.
She was predeceased by her son Glenn Sousa, and brother Manuel “Pepsi” Fernandes.
Mrs. Sousa was a life-long Bristolian. She was employed in various manufacturing jobs and was also a homemaker.
