Antonio Labao

Antonio D. Labao, 84, of Bristol, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Silver Creek Manor.  He was the husband of the late Maria de Jesus (Leandro Vieira) Labao.

Born in Rabo de Peixe, São Miguel, Açores, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria Jesus (Leandro Vieira) Labao. He is survived by his children: Antonio (Maria) Labao, Natalia Barbeiro, Jose (Sue Mello Labao, Delia Labao, Anna (Mark) Metade, and Humberto (Jennifer) Labao; grandfather of 14; great-grandfather of 4; and grandfather of the late Amy Labao.

Mr. Labao was educated in Portugal. He was employed as a boat builder for Carol Marine for many years before retiring.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 25th, 8 – 10:30 AM, from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
