Antonio C. Lima, 73, of Roma Street, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, at Lincolnwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was the devoted husband of Ana M. (Ferreira) Lima.
Born in Ribeira da Tainhas, Vila Franca do Campo, São Miguel, Azores, he was the beloved son of João Pacheco and Maria do Nascimento (Ferreira) Lima. In addition to his wife, he leaves his daughter, Susie and her husband Craig LaChapelle of Warwick; cherished grandchildren, Zachary and Nicholas; and siblings, Filomena Mendonca of Pawtucket, Maria “Rosie” Medeiros of New Bedford, MA, Mary-Jo Menezes of Fall River, MA, and José Lima of CT.
He was predeceased by his brothers Gabriel Lima, Miguel Lima, Emanuel Lima, and João Andre Pacheco Lima.
Mr. Lima was educated in Portugal and immigrated to the United States, where he built a life of hard work and devotion to family. He was employed by American Insulated Wire for 33 years before his retirement.
His funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10, 8:30 – 10:30 AM from the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
