Armanda M. Medeiros, 87, of Bourne Steet, passed away on January 14, 2024, at home.  She was the wife of the late Jose C. Medeiros.

Born in Cabouco, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Ermelinda (de Medeiros) Ferreira. She is survived by: her children Luis (Nancy) Medeiros of Somerset MA, Joseph (Donna) Medeiros of Somerset MA, John (Maureen Dalton) Medeiros of Bristol, and Lucia Floor of Bristol; grandchildren Jamie Medeiros, Zachary Medeiros, Jordan Medeiros, Jarrod Medeiros, Lynsey Medeiros, Daylan Medeiros, Jillian Floor, Neeko Medeiros, and Kendra Floor; great grandchildren Hunter Poole, Alixzandra Medeiros, Jace Medeiros, Julian Medeiros, Bentley Vieira, Aubrey Medeiros, and Flynn Medeiros; and sister Inez Ferreira of Brampton, Canada. She was predeceased by her siblings Luis Ferreira, Artemiza Farias, Manuel Ferreira, Evangelina Teixeira, Leonel Ferreira, and Arthur Ferreira.

Mrs. Medeiros was educated in Portugal. She was employed by Carol Cable and Converse for many years before retiring.  She loved cooking and feeding everyone.

Her funeral services will be held Saturday, January 20th, 9:00 AM from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
