Arthur Duarte Carreiro

Arthur Duarte Carreiro, 92, of Academy Avenue passed away peacefully on December 3, 2020. He was the husband of the late Maria J. Carreiro.  

Born in Bristol, he was the son of the late Francisco and Maria Carreiro.  

Mr. Carreiro was educated in Bristol and Portugal and employed by Dixon Industries Corporation before retiring in 1991.

He was the loving father of Lucie Kenyon and her husband Steve.  He was also the dearly loved grandfather of Jeffrey Kenyon and his wife Nicole, Timothy Kenyon and his wife Colleen as well as the great-grandfather of Mason, Isla and Nora.  He is also survived by his sister Mary Lou DaCosta and brother Alvaro Carreiro and many nieces and nephews.  Arthur was the brother of the late Joseph Carreiro and Theofilio Carreiro.

Arthur leaves behind a rich and beautiful legacy of love and devotion to his family which includes his beloved Pug, Rocky.

Private services were held on December 10, 2020.
