Barbara Jean (Tullis) Brightman, 70, of Noyes Avenue passed away on January 17, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Raymond Brightman, Jr.

Born in Amsterdam, NY, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Ethel (O’Brien) Tullis. She was the mother of: Michael Slocum of CT, Joshua Brightman and his wife Jessica of Bristol, and the late Sandra Slocum, grandmother of: Lily Brightman, Mya Brightman, Bailey Brightman, Nicholas Mendonca, Nathaniel Mendonca, Benjamin Mendonca, Samantha Mendonca and great grandmother of Cassandra Mendonca, her children; Peter Brightman, Russell Brightman, Kimberly Brightman, Kerri Vinci-Brightman. Barbara was the sister of Jerry Tullis, Robin Tullis, Kelly Thomas and the late Reggie Tullis, Skye Ambrose and Brian Tullis. She is also survived by her son-in-law Victor Mendonca.

Mrs. Brightman was a graduate of Bristol High School, class of “68” and received an Associate’s Degree from the University of Rhode Island.

Her funeral services are pending.
