Bernard McCrink Jr.

Bernard “Bernie” E. McCrink Jr., 62, of North Providence, passed away on July 3, 2023. 

Born in Providence, he was the son of Katherine “Anne” (O’Neill) and the late Bernard E. McCrink Sr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters Karen McCrink of North Providence and Beth (Jason) Lavelle of Bristol.  He was the uncle of Bridget and Jayce Lavelle.

Bernie was a graduate of La Salle Academy and Brown University.  He received his Master’s Degree in education from Rhode Island College and was formerly employed by the Providence School Department as a math teacher.  He most recently worked at the Star Chinese School teaching and tutoring math.  Bernie was a lifelong golf enthusiast, playing in his earlier years in school and mentoring young golfers later in life.  

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Friday, July 14th, 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol.
