Bernardina (Carreira) Correia

Bernardina (Carreira) Correia, 93, of Hope Street passed away on January 8, 2021 due to the Conora Virus at St. Elizabeth Manor.  She was the wife of the late Anthony B. Correia.  

Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Sarah (Fidalgo) Carreira.  She was the mother of Glenn Correia (Maria) of West Kingston; grandmother of Tina St. Angelo (Ashley) and Kyle Correia; great grandmother of Holly St. Angelo, Marissa St. Angelo, and Anthony St. Angelo III and great great grandmother of Kristina McCormick.  She was the sister of the late Dorothy Nunes, Edward Carreira, John Carreira, Agnes Nunes and Frank Carreira. 

Mrs. Correia was educated in Bristol and employed as an inspector at Carr Fulflex before retiring.

Her funeral services were private.
