Bonnie Jean (Joslyn) Morgan, 82, of Exeter, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 3, 2026, at Crestwood Nursing and Rehabilitation in Warren. She was the wife of the late Harold G. Morgan.
Born on April 28th, 1943, in Middletown, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Stuart S. and Tanina Joslyn. She was a 1961 graduate of Valley Regional High School, Middletown, CT. She was a graduate of Green Mountain College.
Bonnie found great joy in watching the otters, cranes and ducks on their pond and especially taking care of the tiny hummingbirds that would arrive at the house every Spring. Feeding the hummingbirds was her unofficial part-time job and she took it very seriously. She was an avid reader, cherishing the comfort of a good book. Knitting was a passion of hers as well and she made hundreds of Christmas ornaments as well as stunning holiday pins that she sold locally.
She is survived by her daughter Tina (Greg) Golden of Bristol, granddaughters Samantha Golden, Katherine Golden, and Abigail Golden. She was predeceased by her sister, Joanne Cadwell. She leaves behind a brother-in-law Peter Morgan and sister-in-law Virginia Moses. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Deborah, Frank, Stuart, Jocelyn, Jennifer, Bonnie and Joseph. She will be dearly missed by her best friend Patti Anne Vassia of Middletown, CT.
At Bonnie’s request, no services will be held, and her burial will be private.
The family requests that any memorial donations please be made to: The Audubon Society of Rhode Island, 1401 Hope Street, Bristol RI 02809.
