Celestino P. Dos Santos

Celestino P. Dos Santos, 71, of Bristol, died May 25, 2022, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the loving husband of Maria M. (Pacheco) Santos. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, he was a son of the late Celestino Dos Santos and Maria C. (Pereira) Santos.   

Mr. Dos Santos was employed as a laborer in the construction industry for many years and with Daponte's Landscaping until his retirement. He was a Communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Church and member of the Holy Ghost Community. He was also a member of the Portuguese Independent Club and the Lincoln Club.  

In addition to his wife, he leaves his loving children: Maria M. Medeiros and her husband James of Bristol, Evaldo Santos of Bristol, Diane F. Santos and her fiancée Tyler Caton of Bristol.  He was the father of the late Nelio Santos and Tito Santos. Cherished grandfather of Michael Medeiros, Olivia Medeiros, and Emily Medeiros, all of Bristol. He was the brother of Antonio Dos Santos of Sao Miguel, Acores, Claudio Dos Santos of Somerville, MA, Joseph Dos Santos of Canada, Grace Santos of New Bedford, and Jorge Santos of Canada.  

His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
