Cesaltina Medeiros, 89, of Bristol, passed away on October 6, 2022, at Silver Creek Nursing & Rehab. She was the wife of the late Bento de Medeiros.

Born in Relva, São Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Delfina (Arruda) Viveiros. She is survived by her children: Joao (Connie) Medeiros, Jose (Mary Lou) Medeiros, Matilde (Jose) Oliveira, and Adriana (Jose) Fernandes; grandchildren: Benny Medeiros, Allison Ferreira, Cassandra Medeiros, Kimberly Medeiros, Veronica Sousa, Hugo Oliveira, Matthew Fernandes, Samantha Medeiros, and Andrew Medeiros; great grandchildren: Niveah Ferreira, Makenna Ferreira, Ariella Ferreira, Kaleb O’Dell, Kyla O’Dell, Priya Medeiros, Navin Medeiros, David Sousa, Maria Alice Sousa, Madelena Oliveira, Greyson Fernandes, and Easton Fernandes.  Mrs. Medeiros was the sister of the late Maria da Conceicao Viveiros.

Mrs. Medeiros was educated in Portugal. She was employed as a machine operator for Robin Rug and Victoria’s Creations before retiring.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, October 12th,  9 – 10:30 AM  from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
