Christine Mary (Amaral) DeCosta Ferreira, 100, passed away on February 15, 2022 at Charlesgate Nursing Center surrounded by her family.  She was the wife of the late Anthony F. De Costa and the late Manuel Ferreira.

She was the mother of Anthony DeCosta Jr of New Hampshire and Alice Garcia of Florida; grandmother of Elizabeth DeCosta, Daniel DeCosta, Adam DeCosta and Derek Garcia and great grandmother of Cody DeCosta, Carmona DeCosta, Logan Garcia, Madison Garcia, Olivia Garcia, Kyle DeCosta and Devin DeCosta.  She was the sister of the late Tony Amaral, Manuel Amaral, Sophia H. Wyman and mother-in-law of the late John Garcia.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, February 26th, 11 AM, at St. Mary's Church, 330 Wood Street.  Burial will follow in St. Columba's Cemetery, Portsmouth.
