Conceicao E. Peixoto, 86, of Metacom Avenue, passed away on September 8, 2026, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late Antonio S. Peixoto.  

Born in Faial, Azores, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Jose D. and Maria Eugenia (Silveira) Morais. She is survived by her children: Claudina M. Peixoto of Bristol, Antonio S. Peixoto of Bristol, and Mario (Lori) F. Peixoto of Attleboro, MA; grandchildren: Matthew Peixoto and Allison Peixoto; and siblings: Maria Matos of Bristol, Jose Morais of Bristol, and Adelina Da Silva of South Carolina. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her siblings: Francisco Morais and Maria Fatima Morais. 

Mrs. Peixoto was educated in Portugal. She was employed for 21 years by American Tourister before retiring. 

Her funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 8 – 9:30 AM from the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
