David Andrade, 48, of Shaws Lane, passed away on January 28, 2024, at Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Fall River MA, he was the son of Maria Lurdes (Correia) Andrade and the late Alfredo De Andrade. In addition to his mother, he is survived by: his sister Fatima (Joe) Milhomens, and brother Kevin (Melissa) Andrade; nieces and nephews Katrina and (Justin) Vicente, Alexander Milhomens, Leah Andrade, Cameron Andrade, and Douglas Andrade; and sister-in-law Kristen Andrade.
David was predeceased by his twin brother, Spc. Michael Andrade.
David was educated at the Meeting Street School and the James L. Maher Center. He was an Honorary Lifetime Firefighter for the Dreadnaught Hook and Ladder Company Bristol Fire Department. While at James L. Maher, David participated in Shake a Leg Sailing which he enjoyed.
David’s biggest joy was his loving parents and siblings. This was witnessed by the joy in his beautiful smile when he would look at his mom and dad. David enjoyed attending parades and church feasts with his family and friends. He was proud to receive the honor being a Holy Ghost Dominga Recipient. David enjoyed his car rides, Sundays with family, watching his nephews and nieces playing, and all animals, especially the family dogs.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, February 3rd, 8:30 – 10:30 AM from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
