Debra (Andrews) Cabral, 57 of State Street passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on December 12, 2021 at home. She was the wife of Charles C. Cabral.
Born in New Bedford, MA, she was the daughter of Janice (Spooner) Andrews and the late John Andrews Jr. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Kendra Cabral and her fiance Nico Apici of Bristol; Kelsey Cabral of Boston, MA; and her granddaughter Elaina Apici. She was the sister of Jared Porada; daughter in law of Theresa Cabral and the late Carlos Cabral and goddaughter of Mary and Jeffrey Spooner. She had a love for gardening and the outdoors.
Mrs. Cabral was a graduate of New Bedford High School and received an Associate’s Degree from New Bedford Vocational Tech. She was employed as the Director at The Island Child Care Center.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 16th, 10 AM at the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Calling hours are Wednesday, December 15th from 3 pm to 7 pm.
