Delia Filomena (Medeiros) Correia

Delia Filomena (Medeiros) Correia, 66, of Colonial Drive passed away on December 8, 2020 at Silver Creek Manor. She was the wife of the late Albano Oliveira Correia.  

Born in Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Artur and Ofelia (Texeira) Correia.  She is survived by her children: Elvis Correia and his wife Maureen of Seekonk, MA: Christopher Correia and his wife Chantee of Woonsocket, RI; Lynn Correia and her husband Jeff of Warren, RI; Jonathan Correia of Warren, RI and grandchildren: Colton Correia, Peyton Correia, Travis Bonanca and Olivia Correia.  She was the sister of Artur Medeiros of East Providence, RI; Aires Medeiros of Bristol, RI and Ofelia Brennan of Burriville, RI.

Mrs. Correia was educated in Portugal and employed as a CNA at the RI Veterans Home for 25 years before retiring.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, December 16th, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
