Dianne M. Warr

Dianne M. (Zicarello) Warr, 81, of East Providence, passed away on January 30, 2025, at East Gate Nursing Home. 

Born in New Orleans, Louisianna, she was the daughter of Dominick C. and Willie B. (Lindsay) Zicarello. She is survived by: her son Ronald (Rebecca) R. Warr, Jr., of Riverside, and daughter Jennifer E. LeBlanc of River Ridge, LA; and grandchildren: Cassandra K. Warr, Samuel A. Warr, Benjamin P. Warr, Brandon LeBlanc, and Amber LeBlanc.

She was predeceased by her sister, Lucille A. Rushing.

Mrs. Warr was a 1961 class graduate of East Jefferson High School in Metarie, LA. She was employed as a secretary for National Gypsum for 5 years, Pelican Bank for 3 years, then later Alcoa Alum for 8 years. 

She was known by her family for her love of all things “Elvis”. She was an avid bowler and card player and loved her many dogs throughout her life.

Her funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 9:30 – 10:30 AM from the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, followed by a prayer service at the funeral home at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, Riverside, RI 02915
