Dolores Bisbano Obituary

Dolores “Dee” Bisbano, 87, of Viking Drive, passed away on June 9, 2024, at home. She was the wife of the late Richard Bisbano.


Born in Somerset, MA, she was the daughter of the late Virginio C. and Georgianna (Rebello) Martin. She is survived by her children: Donald A. Bisbano (Lynne) of Rehoboth, MA, Bruce W. Bisbano (Kim) of Lincoln, RI, and Elizabeth A. Annunziata of Bristol, RI; grandchildren: Brandon Ross Bisbano, Lauren Ann Bisbano, Leo Alexander Bisbano, Kyle Alan Bisbano and Kara Ann Bisbano; and several nieces and nephews that she loved wholeheartedly.


She was predeceased by her brother, George Martin of Somerset, MA.


Dee attended Colt Memorial High School. She moved to Bristol at 1 ½ years old and lived in Bristol for 86 ½ years. She was self-employed, managing her own company Designcraft East for 9 ½ years. Dee previously worked in the offices of NUSC in Middletown for 2 years, Kaiser Aluminum Inc. for 2 years, and Bristol Manufacturing Corporation for 15 years. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Church and a member of the former Daughters of Mary. Dee enjoyed playing her organ, playing cards, including weekly meetings with her Canasta group, and was also a long-time member of the Hopeworth Bocce League.


Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 18th, 9:30 – 10:30 AM from the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
