Domenic Michael Grimo

Domenic Michael Grimo, 92, of Oliver Street passed away on October 13, 2018 at Silver CreekManor. He was the husband of Ida (Florenzano) Grimo.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frank and Michelina (LoRusso) Grima.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Stephen Grimo and his wife Charlene of Bristol, Madeline Cappucci and her husband Domenic of Bristol; grandsons Brian Grimo and his wife Liberti of Vero Beach FL, Scott Grimo of Somerset MA, Ryan Cappucci and his wife Jennifer of Bristol and great grandson Luciano Grimo.  He was the brother of the late Michael Grimo, Pauline Calvino and Frances Ruggiero.

Mr. Grimo was educated in Bristol and served in the US Navy during World War II and the Korean War.  He was employed by Kaiser Aluminum for 39 years before retiring.

His funeral services will be held Friday, October 19th, 10:30  AM from the George Lima Funeral Home 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 141 State Street. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground.
