Donald Enos Obituary

Donald R. Enos

Our beloved Don passed away on September 23, 2020 after a battle with cancer.  He was born in Providence on April 28, 1957.

He is survived by his loving wife Maureen of 20 years.  He was the son of John and Dorothy (Correira) Enos of Bristol, RI.  He leaves behind his children, Donald Enos Jr. and his wife Danielle of Bristol and Natasha Enos of Bristol; stepchildren Alison-Joy Levin of Cranston, Monica-Lee Levin and her husband Pasquale Russo of Italy and Alexandria Nelson and her husband Matthew of Cranston.

Don had nine grandchildren that he loved and cherished: Domenic and Deana Enos, Isaiah Enos, Noah Germain, Aaron, Ashley and Axel Nelson, Antonio and Valentina Russo.  He was the loving brother to Shirley Gaudreau (Marc) and uncle to Hannah Gaudreau.   He was the best Dad and Papa in the world.

Don was a self-employed contractor for 45 years. Don graduated from Bristol High School in 1975, completing the BHS Construction Program where students learned to build a house from the ground up.  Upon graduation, he started his own construction company called E & R Construction.  Don was a self-made man who lived to the fullest.  He was a hard worker with a kind and generous heart.  As a teenager, he spent summers on Hog Island and loved to quahog and fish on his wooden skiff his dad built.  He had a love for the outdoors especially hunting and snowmobiling.  He was very proud of the black bear he hunted.

His real love was spending time with his family.  He enjoyed family gatherings and pool parties at his house in Warren.  As an adult he found faith and believed Jesus as his person Savior.  He is resting in heaven in the arms of Jesus.  We will miss his caring love and energy.
