Dorothy Arsenault

Dorothy (King Silvia) Arsenault passed away September 18, 2026. She was born in Bristol on October 19, 1932, to Jesse King Silvia and Rose (Cordeiro) King Silvia.

Dottie was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Armand, and her daughter Paula.

She is survived by her daughter Gale Federico of Bristol, her son Mark (Kim) of Lanexa, VA, and her sister Charlotte (Dave) of Rochester, NY. She also leaves behind five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Dottie will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and generous spirit. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will never be forgotten.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 7, 10 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
