Eduardo Soares Medeiros

Eduardo Soares Medeiros, 75, of Connecticut and formerly of Bristol passed away on August 14, 2021 at Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT.  He was the husband of Rosa (Ferreira) Medeiros.  

Born in Relva, St. Michael, Azores, Portugal, he was son of the late Manuel Medeiros Constancia and Silvana Soares.  In addition to his wife Rosa, he is survived by his son Robert Medeiros and his wife Patricia of Plainfield, CT; and granddaughter Jacqueline Medeiros.  He was the brother of the late Jose Medeiros, Manuel Medeiros, Francisco Medeiros, Bento Medeiros and Maria Pacheco.

Mr. Medeiros was educated in Portugal and employed by Pearson Yachts and Scott Brass before retiring.

His funeral services will be held Friday, August 20th, 10 AM from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
