Born in Newport, RI, Eleanor Carlton Lawton was the daughter of Eleanor Bowker Langley and Norman R. Langley. She is survived by: the love of her life, Jim Lawton, whom she shared 48 loving and joyous years; five children: Michele Seeley, Melissa Bilodeau, Alice Letondot, Pamela Bilodeau, and Raymond A. Bilodeau; and eight grandchildren: Axel, Beatrice, and Sophie Letondot, Kara and Brian Jr. Seeley, and Genevieve, Owen, and Brianne Bilodeau, who are all her cherished accomplishments.

Eleanor graduated from Hope High School in Providence, RI in 1959. Her career encompassed raising five wonderful children and caring for her patients at Metacom Manor Nursing Home in Bristol, RI in the physical therapy department. She went on to establish, with her beloved husband, ‘The Therapy Room’ Physical Therapy Practice in Warren, RI. She also co-owned both the Bristol, RI Cinema and the Cable Car Cinema in Providence, RI.

Her funeral arrangements are private.
