Elsie C. (Motta) Goulart, 98, formerly of Magnolia Street, passed away on September 7, 2026, at Silver Creek Manor. She was the wife of the late James Goulart.

Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Anna (Moitoso) Motta. She is survived by her son, James Goulart of Bristol.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sons Bruce Goulart and Wayne Goulart; and siblings: Alice Silva, Evelyn Pimental, and Joseph Motta.

Mrs. Goulart attended Colt Memorial High School. She was employed by various companies such as Converse and P.F. Industries for 55 years before retiring.

Her funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 10, 9:30 – 10 AM from the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
