Elsie (Borges) Patterson, 87, of Warren, passed away on July 30, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Samuel B. Patterson.

Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Manuel E. and Mary C. (Perry) Borges. She is survived by her children: Samuel (Elizabeth) B. Patterson, Jr. of Warren, Martha Patterson of Warren, and David (Sandra) J. Patterson of Warren; granddaughter: Rachel Patterson; her twin sister Mary Roderick of Middletown, younger sister Agnes Mello of Warren, and sister-in-law Alice Patterson of Warren.

Elsie attended Colt Memorial High School. She was employed as a seamstress and was also a homemaker. In her later years she worked for Sears before retiring. Elsie was a devout catholic and a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4, 10:30 at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
