George Almeida, 31, of State Street passed away on July 11, 2021.
Born in Providence, he was son of Jose DaPonte Almeida and Maria Teresa (Melo Santos) Almeida. He is survived by his son Jorge Almeida; and was the nephew of Antonio (Shirley) Almeida; Maria Conceicao (Jose) Branco; Maria das Neves (Dinis) Melo; Joao (Jussara) Almeida; Antero “Teri” (Coleen) Cordeiro; Rui Almeida; Nelson (Jen) Almeida. He also leaves behind many beloved cousins.
Mr. Almeida was educated in Bristol and employed by Joe Franco Landscaping.
His funeral services will be held Monday, July 19th, 10 AM from the George Lima Funeral Home 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
