Harold Sousa Obituary

Harold Anthony Sousa, 93, formerly of Benjamin Church Manor, passed away on August 30, 2022 at Crestwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.   He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Sampaio)  Sousa.  

Born in Bristol, he was the son of the late Antonio and Mary (Moreno) Sousa.  He is survived by his children:  Richard Sousa and his wife Laurie; George Sousa and his wife Jane; and Doreen Victorino and her husband Louis.  He was the grandfather of Michael Sousa, Gregg Sousa, Carrie Sousa-Pawlitchek, Christine Waring, and Brian Victorino; great grandfather of Kyle, Madison, Avery, Morgan, Ariana, Taylor, Isaac, Caleb, Hailey and great grandfather of Amaya and Xaila.  He was the brother of the late Emily Sousa-Cabral, Joseph Sousa and George Sousa.

Mr. Sousa was educated in Bristol and employed as a machinist before retiring.  

His calling hours will be held Friday, September 2nd, 9 – 10:30 AM at the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
