Ines F. Mendonca, 84, of Cranston, passed away on July 5, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of Jose and Margarida Mederios. She is survived by her son: Joseph Santos and his significant other Cece DiCecco of Cranston; her granddaughter: Jewel Santos; sisters: Maria Bernardo of Bristol, and Mary Lou Cardoza of Warren; and her friend Natercia Fonseca of Cranston.
She was predeceased by: her brother, Jose Medeiros; her grandson, Joshua Santos, and her sister, Philomena Moniz. Ines was educated in Portugal; she was a homemaker and great mother.
Her funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 8:30 – 10:30 AM from the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, Bristol, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol, RI. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
