Jacqueline C. Brown

Jacqueline C. Brown, 82, of Sherry Avenue, passed away on May 22, 2026, at Newport Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert D. Brown.  

Born in Furnas, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Joao C. and Ester (Pimenta) Da Silva. She is survived by her children: Robert (Stephanie) Brown of Douglas, MA, Melanie (Gregory) Warrenfeltz of Hagerstown, MD, and Kevin Brown of Bristol, RI; and grandchildren: David Brown and Jessica Brown.

She was predeceased by her stepfather: Manuel L. Vieira; and granddaughter: Elysia Lebeau.

Mrs. Brown was a 1964 class graduate of Colt Memorial High School.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, May 30, 10 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Calling hours are Friday, 4 - 6 PM.
