Jeannine T. Vaughn Obituary
Jeannine T. (DeFalco) Vaughn, 82, of Wilcox Street, passed away on May 18, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Paul and Patcina DeFalco.
She leaves behind the love of her life, her husband of 58 years Michael D. Vaughn, as well as her beloved son Christopher.
After graduating with a master’s degree from Rhode Island College, she pursued her love and passion for teaching. Through her years she touched many people in many ways. Whether she was teaching at The Henry Barnard School in Providence, or as a military wife in Japan teaching American words to local neighborhood children while learning Japanese in exchange.
Jeannine also loved fashion! She was a fashionista before it ever became popular or even a word. Clothes, scarves, perfume, makeup – she loved it all! For numerous years you could find her on the other side of the counter at Bloomingdales, a job she also loved! We are sure that she is with the best-dressed angels in Heaven!
Jeannine was a true lady with the kindest heart. She had a love of teaching classes in protocols of etiquette. She did so with joy, pride, and love, sharing her loving heart, kind smile, and always a laugh!
She was a selfless mother & wife who dedicated her life to taking care of her family. Jeannine’s strong faith in God was incredible. She prayed for others in their times of need, as well as their times of joy. Her faith was her guide throughout her Life.
