Jeffrey S. Fonseca, Esq (1964–2022)

Jeffrey S. Fonseca, 58, of Boston, MA passed away suddenly on June 21, 2022. Jeffrey grew up in Bristol, RI.

Jeffrey was a graduate of Bristol High School, Boston University and Nova Law School in Florida where he received his Juris Doctorate degree. As a young lawyer he set a precedent in Florida law, an extraordinary accomplishment. He continued his studies at Emory Law School in Georgia where he worked towards his master's degree in law. He practiced law for 20 years in Florida before moving back to Massachusetts to be closer to family.

Jeffrey was smart and talented. He loved to create, whether it be building, painting or writing. He enjoyed the water and his seaside hometown of Bristol. His humor and imagination will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Jeffrey was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Fonseca and father, Antonio Fonseca. Jeffrey is survived by his mother Patricia A. (Sullivan) Fonseca, his sister Linda E. Fonseca, brother Christopher Fonseca and his wife Michelle (Theberge) Fonseca and nieces Faith and Eden Fonseca of Bristol. He is also survived by his brother, Michael Fonseca and his family, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be a private mass and burial. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923
