Jackson of Bristol; and nephew Ryan Jackson and his partner Eliza Correia of Bristol. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law Robert A. Riopel.
Joanne was a 1960 graduate of Bristol Colt Memorial High School. She was employed in 1980 by A.N. Nunes Agency in Bristol, RI as a customer service representative until her retirement in 2002.
Since 1957, Joanne was a part of a friend group called the “Sweeties”. She belonged to many organizations throughout the years, including the Brownie Leader in the late 1960s, and the former Bristol Junior’s Women’s Club. She volunteered at Heart Fund Drives, was both a member and volunteer at Linden Place, a volunteer knitter for Women’s and Infants “Operation Warm Head Start”, and a volunteer as an Art Docent at Rockwell School. One of her favorite pastimes was to get together with friends and family. She also loved to travel and shared this with her family by creating many beautiful memories.
