Joanne Wolf, 58, of Prudence Island, died peacefully at home in her sleep on June 10, 2022. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband Adrian Iselin. She is survived by her mother, Jacquin Thomas, and her five siblings: Judith Wolf and her husband William Healey of North Kingstown, Nancy Wolf and her husband John Jaworski of Upton, MA, Max Wolf and his wife Audré of Nantucket, MA, John Wolf of Upton, MA, and Matthew Wolf and his wife Beverly Phillips of Nantucket, MA; her stepmother Elizabeth Wolf of Williamstown, MA; her seven nieces and nephews: Julie, Jeffrey, Amelia, Alexander, Justin, John (Jay) and Krystin; 7 grand nieces and nephews; and many dear friends whom she considered family.
She is predeceased by her beloved father, Joseph Wolf, and by her cherished dogs, Trixie and Comet.
Joanne was raised in Cranston, RI, the youngest of six siblings. She graduated from School One in Providence where she made lifelong friends.
Anyone who knew Joanne would agree she lived life with passion having many adventures during her time here. She absolutely loved music and going to concerts. Her favorite band was The Grateful Dead following them around the country way back when. She was an avid skier, learning to ski at the young age of three. Later in life she found a passion for photography attending Rhode Island School of Design to further develop her artistic talents. She especially loved photographing the beauty of nature, capturing many fabulous sunsets on Prudence Island.
Her love, her laughter and her beautiful smile will be missed on this earth forever.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Sunday June 26, 2022, at 4:00 PM at Trinity Episcopal Church 139 Ocean Ave Cranston, RI 02905.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Animal Rescue Rhode Island to honor her love of animals.
