John Paul Botelho, 72, of Franklin Street, passed away on September 26, 2024, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Gildo and Olga M. (Marshall) Botelho. He is survived by his brother Douglas Botelho of Barrington; nieces and nephews Jodi L. Leffingwell of Warren, Kelly Caton of Bristol, and Douglas M. Botelho of Warren; and grand-nieces and grand-nephews Shea Caton, Julia Caton, Jacqueline Caton, Abigale Leffingwell, and Aubrey Leffingwell.
He was predeceased by his sister, Jacqueline L. Botelho.
John Paul attended Bristol schools and was a self-employed carpenter for many years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, and cars and hanging out with his buddies, friends, and family.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 9, 10 AM at St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main Street, Warren, RI 02885. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Bristol, RI 02809.
Calling hours are Tuesday, 4 - 8 PM.
