Jose Amaral

Jose M. Amaral, 82, of Warren, passed away on December 17, 2023, at home.  He was the husband of the late Isidoria (Andrade) Amaral.

Born in Rabo de Peixe, St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Jose and Rosa (Mourato) Amaral. He is survived by: his son Mario (Lisa Silvia) Amaral of Swansea; grandchildren Cassandra Martel, Jordan Amaral, and Jenna Amaral; and siblings Manuel Amaral of Warwick, Lionel Amaral of Canada, and Maria da Luz Martins of Providence.

He was predeceased by his granddaughter Jacqueline Amaral, and sister Dos Anjos Morreira.

Mr. Amaral was educated in Portugal. He was a carpenter and mason for Derecktor Shipyards for 15 years before retiring.

Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, December 26th, 5 - 7 PM from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street.
