Jose Gabriel Medeiros

Jose Gabriel Medeiros, 62, of State Street passed away on October 8, 2020 at Newport Hospital.  He was the husband of Rosa Maria Barbosa.  

Born in Relva, St. Michael, Azores he was the son of Maria (Silveira) Medeiros and the late Eleuterio Medeiros.  In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children Stephanie Medeiros of Pennsylvania and Scott J. Medeiros and his wife Heidi Costa of Fall River.  He was the grandfather of Robert Domingos, Julianna Domingos and Gabriella Domingos and brother of Joao (Rosa) Medeiros, Octavio (Deborah) Medeiros, Connie (Joao Carlos) Medeiros, Adeline (Tony) Avila, Lisa (Oscar) DeLemos and Carmen (John) Ferreira.

Mr. Medeiros was educated in Portugal and employed by Symmetrix Composite Tooling. 

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday, October 12th, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery

Mask use is required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
