We mourn the passing of Joseph "Joe" Medeiros, 66, of Bristol, RI, who succumbed to his illnesses at his home the morning of Wednesday, June 19, 2024, with his loving wife by his side. He was loved by many.

 Born on May 12, 1958 in Fall River, he was the son of the late William B. & Eleanor P. (Almeida) Medeiros. Joe Leaves behind his wife of 40+ years, Marianne (Quattropani) and their three children - Lisa (Bob E. Jr.) Medeiros of Riverside, Nicholas Medeiros of Warren, and Sarah (Justin M.) Quattropani of Jacksonville, FL. He was also the proud Grandpa of four grandchildren - Jayden and Elly McMaster, Jack Ellin, and Addison Marchant. He is also survived by his siblings Bill (Deborah K.) Medeiros, Tom (Kerri) Medeiros, & Mary Lou (Kenny) Benevides as well as many nieces and nephews.

Joe Loved to fish. He was a Commercial Fish & Shellfish Harvester most of his life. He was also a Master Boat Builder and fiberglass pattern mold maker. He had many hobbies - walking in the woods, building hobby rockets, watching TV & movies, napping, BSing with friends, target shooting, feeding the squirrels, tinkering, and nagging his wife, among other things. He fought a winning 4-year battle with stage 3 lung cancer, but unfortunately the treatment that prolonged his life ultimately took its toll on his system & his heart just couldn't keep up anymore.

And so we ask his friends and loved ones to join us in saying Fair Winds & Following Seas to Joe at George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, on Saturday, June 29th, 9AM – 11AM, followed by a celebration of his life at the VFW in Bristol, 850 Hope St.
