Joseph "Boy" Francis Malloy

Joseph "Boy" F.  Malloy, 92, formerly of Doran Avenue, passed away on July 2, 2023.  Born in Bristol to the late Josephine (Vento) Middleton, he was the beloved husband of the late Dolores (Cabral) Malloy for 66 years before her passing in 2017.  

Mr. Malloy was the devoted father of: Deb (Nancy) Malloy of Bristol, Claudette (Gilbert) Almeida of Bristol, Robert (Lynne) Malloy of Bristol, and Patrick (Sandee) Malloy of Maine; loving grandfather of: Gil, Jennie, Laura, Greg, Bonnie, Dillon, Collin, and Ian; and proud great-grandfather of: Austin, Mason, Bryce, Julius, Cole, Mikai, Olivia, and Charlotte. He was the brother of Kathrine Cella of FL, Marjorie O’Neil of North Smithfield, and the late Barbara Mauck.

Mr. Malloy was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School and employed as a foreman for Kaiser Aluminum for 35 years before retiring. 

Calling hours will be held Monday, July 10th, 8:30–10:30AM at the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground.
