Judith A. (Szary) Campbell, 81, of Hope Street, passed away on December 21, 2025, at home. She was the wife of William Campbell.
Born in Easthampton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Theresa (Carey) Szary. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Heather Mazjanis of Barrington, and William K. (Susanne) Campbell of Raynham, MA; grandchildren: James (Hannah), Collin, and Liam; great-granddaughter Leah; sister Maureen Szary of Florida; brother-in-law James (Judy) Campbell of Randolph, MA; and sister-in-law Cindie (John) Smey of Hanover, MA.
She was predeceased by her late sister Connie Schwobe.
Judith graduated from high school in Easthampton, MA, before earning her bachelor’s degree from UMASS Amherst. She received her master’s degree from Southern Massachusetts University. She was employed at Rhode Island Hospital as a Blood Bank Specialist, at Memorial Hospital (Pawtucket) as the director of Medical Technology Education and as Coordinator charged with implementing their digital medical records system.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 28, 3 – 7 PM at George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, Bristol, RI. A brief ceremony will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 29, at 10AM, followed by a celebratory remembrance and luncheon at Bristol Yacht Club, Poppasquash Road, Bristol, at 11:30AM.
