Karen Pezzullo Obituary

Karen Lee Pezzullo, loving daughter of Vincent and the late Bernice (Proto) Pezzullo, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.

Karen was raised in Bristol and in 1986 graduated from Our Lady of Fatima High School.  Growing up she learned what it was to work hard which carried on through her career beginning with Perry's Florist, moving on to, and for many years as a bus driver for Laidlaw Transit, then UPS.

Her big, beautiful, blue eyes and radiant smile would captivate any audience.  Her heart, so giving, was larger than life. If someone was in need, she would always be there to see them through.  One of Karen's best attributes was to always see the good in people and love unconditionally, spite the circumstances.

Living by the water is where Karen found peace and solace. Like her mother, nature and being greeted by cardinals had such great meaning.

Some of Karen's favorite past-times, from an early age were mushrooming with her dad and grandfather, spending time in NH, skiing and enjoying campfires, sailing, digging for little necks, singing and dancing to her favorite music, entertaining and cooking, simply living life to its fullest.

She was so loved by her sisters, Denise Asciola (Michael) and Diane Pezzullo and adored her niece and nephew, respectively, Riley McCluskey and Ricky Lima. Karen also leaves her 'prettiest little girl in the whole wide world', fur baby, Shianne, in addition to many relatives and close friends.

Reunited with her beautiful mother, Karen was also greeted by her devoted partner, Amy Burgo, her grandparents Beatrice (Moran) and Joseph Proto, and Emilio and Helen (Testa) Pezzullo.

Arrangements are under the direction of George C. Lima Funeral Home in Bristol. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 3rd, at St. Mary's Church, 330 Wood Street in Bristol.
