Kathy Jean (Serpa) Thwaite, 60, of Somerset, MA, passed away on July 5, 2024, at home.

Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late John P. and Lillian (Almeida) Serpa. In addition to her mother, she leaves too soon: her sons Kristopher Thwaite of Somerset, MA, and Nicholas Thwaite of Somerset, MA; granddaughter Layla; siblings Beverly Serpa, Steven Serpa, and Patty Serpa; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister Karen Serpa and brother John Paul Serpa.

Kathy graduated from Bristol High School. She was employed as an accountant for Looking Upwards, and later The Keystone Group, for 20 years.

Kathy’s family will be receiving visitors on Tuesday, July 23rd, 10:30 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM.
