Lavinia M Perry

Lavinia M. Perry, 79, formerly of Jane Lane, passed away on September 4, 2024, at Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late John H. Pinto, Jr.

Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand C. and Anna (Borges) Perry. She is survived by: her nephews William “Billy” Perry of ME, Shawn Perry of Warren, RI, and Scott Perry of FL; great-nephew Cody Perry and great-niece Nicole Perry; cousins Celeste (Dr. Timothy J. Mulrooney, Sr.) Mulrooney of Snow Camp, NC, and Max M. (Diane) Careiro of Port St. Lucie, FL; godsons Dr. Timothy (Erica) J. Mulrooney, Jr., of Summerfield, NC, and Michael (Jennifer) P. Mulroney of Ormond Beach, FL; friends Deborah (Dave) Valentine of Westport, MA, Marie Ferreira of Bristol, RI, and Eileen Tavares of Bristol, RI; and GiGi, her French bulldog.

She was predeceased by: her brother John Perry; cousin Peter Duarte; and godson Shawn D. Mulrooney.

Ms. Perry was a 1962 graduate of Bristol High School. She was employed as a purchasing agent for Pearson Yachts for 25 years, and for Carroll Marine for 7 years before retiring.

Her funeral services will be held on Friday, September 13, 10 – 10:30 AM from the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
